Can you take over our existing Matomo instance?
Yes, including raw data, reports, users and settings. The migration is verified against the previous instance before switching over.
What does it cost?
We price individually based on traffic and requirements. Describe your situation in the request form and you will receive an assessment and a quote.
Is the operation GDPR-compliant?
Yes. We sign a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR with you. Your instance runs in German data centers with no transfers to third countries, and we configure Matomo to collect only what is needed, for example with IP masking, retention periods and, if you like, no cookies. Whether your website also needs consent depends on the configuration. We advise you on the technical side; the legal assessment stays with your privacy counsel.
What happens if we want to switch?
No lock-in: the data is yours. You get a full export of raw data, reports and configuration at any time and can run the instance yourself or with another provider. Matomo is open source.
